I use my laptop all over the place... in the workshop and open office,I have to move around alot and need to pull out my 3g modem in case it gets bumped. Its such a pain to plug it in again and dial up the connection.

What script is there for auto connect when i plug my modem in.

I would like mobile partner to connect to the internet as soon as it sees my modem plugged in to the usb port.
I read on somewhere that in apple they have such a script and Linux but what about win****e 7.

Life would be so much simpler.....ho havocshere:Dgot some magic for me:D

Can't you just set the connection as your default Internet connection and then as soon as you try to browse a website it should ask you if you want to dial that connection...

Otherwise you should consider getting a laptop with integrated HSDPA in the future ;)

Lastly, if you really want to see if you can script something, then you can perhaps modify my Traffic Splitter application to also dial that connection when it becomes available - but I won't be able to do that for you, since I don't have the time playing with such nonsense :p

You see all i want is to connect to the internet when the modem gets seen by mobile partner .If they can do it in osx and linux why not windows 7

PADA i have just started doing python programming.....only on chapter 3 now...lol

I did this for my cell c modem on windows 7.
Will try to post some detail tomorrow...

There should be a option in your 3G Modem software somewhere to do it. I did it with my CellC modem & software.
