Auto Email sending software?

I'm looking for an app that can automatically send emails when it detects certain files in a folder. Or scan the folder at certain times and send an email with attachment.

I've found AutoMailer, which works perfectly, but the free version only scans one folder. Anything else available that's free? ;-)

Ok, way too "complicated". I'm just looking for a small utility.

MS Office has vb macros. Did all our auto reporting and mailing from that. It's as easy as installing drivers in Linux.
