Auto or Manual

Yea I guess it comes to to preference.

I haven't spent long in an Audi, but my stepbrother went A4 2.0T > BMW X1 > Volvo XC60 ... which he had for 9 months and bought a second XC60 R Design. Ergonomics was thing thing he mentioned that the Volvo outclassed both the BMW and Audi.

Performance-wise, as I say running with a GTI or ST is good enough for me and shows it is certainly no slouch. Yes - it may not put it's power down as well as the others, but's its still running with them. Not too shabby for a heavy old mans car with looong gear ratios IMO

Looks wise is again, subjective. But I've yet to see another C30 R Design like mine. With the colour and larger wheels, it turns heads for sure. Do people actually notice an Audi on the road? :P

Features wise I have Dynaudio 10 speaker sound Pro Logic II, 6 x shuttle, aux in, USB in and iPod connector ... Xenon, sunroof, cruise control, folding mirrors, puddle lights, electric seat, auto wipers and a few others that'll either cost a fortune - or just doesn't have on a VW/Audi

DSG I'll give you.

When the time comes, I may or may not go for an Audi if Volvo haven't upped their game.

Generally I would say no because there are so many of them now. There are the odd few that stand out and draw my attention personally.
Mine gets quite a few looks with it's deep V6 purr/roar, 19" low profiles and lowered suspension. All black with black tint. It's simply sexy :) Had it 2.5 years now and still get a rush.

Agreed.

Someone else I know just got a white A5 2.0T ... S Line in and out ... 19" low profile too. He's definately got the road presence.
