Auto-sending e-mails

How easy is it to sett up an acc to auto-send email?

I want to auto-send e-mails about once per day from a gmail acc, how would one go about setting that up?
If necessary I can get an acc from a different email provider if gmail does not do it (e.g. hotmail or yahoomail etc.).

Services like Rightinbox, Boomeranggmail will let you achieve what you want and works with Gmail. Lettermelater is another one.
