My current setup runs my entire network, every single device connects through pfsense. My netgear dgn1000 is now the modem just to get the adsl connection and it acts as an access point. I have another access point that connects to pfsense also. My pfsense handles the gateways, dhcp, upnp etc etc. And then im able to get my fatpipe and Bolt-on to the entire network. My setup is modem--->switch--->switch--->pfsense.For a single machine that would be perfect.... But i need the entire network to have the benefit of the Bolt-On.... So its best to have the gateway as the device handling the pppoe Switching and a modem/router behind that in passthrough mode...
This Netgear VEVG2660 I got said it can handle scheduled tasks... But it doesn't... Will switch it out when I get a chance...
know of any similar software for mac?
Sounds interesting.... I'll check it out...I have done exactly the same with Bolton and my regular Afrihost data.
I have an Asus RT-N66U.
I downloaded merlin's firmware, enabled JFFS partition and then made a startup script with a cron job to switch between my 2 Internet connections.
Runs like a charm, and don't need any extra computers, nics etc.
I do believe you can do something similar with tomatoe firmware...
May I ask a question about this?I have a VOX Bolt-On package for 6pm - 6am traffic, and a Telkom 50GB account for normal daytime traffic...
You just did...May I ask a question about this?

You just did...![]()
That sir, is a good question... You must be a PE boy...Here's another two!
Do you get Night Surfer add-on with your 50GB Telkom package? If yes, why double up with the Vox Bolt-on?
