does anyone on MyBB have in depth knowledge of autocad that might be able to assist me with a printing problem ? Everything prints fine to the printer in question, except from autocad.....

The error message is as follows:

"the plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found or the driver has a problem. The None plot device has been substituted."

thanks

Can you not select the printer from dropdown list after closing the message?

What type of printer is it, what driver is being used for all the other applications and what is the default printer set to in Printers and Faxes?

Have you used Plotter manager to "Add a plotter device" and not just added a printer in windows?

that is very weird...it should not be doing that at all. usually it will say that then you just select the printer from the drop down list and off it goes... a solution probably would be to circumvent the process altogether and plot to PDF and then print the PDF.

okay then its not a problem with the printer. check if you have some layers frozen/switched off/ or if they are set not to plot. you will find all this info in the layers manager.
