Hi guys, I am looking for a deent MFP.
I have the Epson tank L5190, this thing is absolute junk, I have never had so many technical issues with a device in my life.
I would prefer to never buy an Epson device again.
I am looking at perhas a colour laser one.
The cartridges are really not bad in pricing.

Would you have any recomendations?
Brother, Canon or something similar?

Maybe something like this?
I sometimes do a lot of printing, not always in colour but would like it to be colour and have that option.
Something that prints decent quality, also has decent quality scanning.
This Epson, really is complete junk and its a higher spec model.

Thanks In advance

Just avoid buying one entirely. They are all ****.

Especially considering the Epson L5190 is actually one of the best of the rest.

I still find it crazy that I have less issues with a 3d printer than I do with a paper printer.

It truly is astounding.

At this point I draw or write out by hand what I needed to print…it’s more effective.

I have a brother dcp-j105. Its old, slow and ugly but it just does its thing. Its been really reliable.

I'm a big Canon fan ... well was and will probably not get one again ... their quality has gone down imo.

Samsung might be my next buy ... the people that own one doesn't seem to complain

My samsung is basically a brick. I used to buy no name toners then Brother bought and ran firmware updates that basically dont recognise the cheap toners and prevent it from working.

Its a hit a miss with toners.

I have the same model. Sometimes have to clean the heads a few times if I haven't used it in a while but it just keeps going year after year.

I've got the older model of this. 5 years old and the only issue it gave was a snapped belt which Mustek replaced for R200.
It's decently high use as well so can't complain.

Before you decide to buy the printer, go to Takealot and read the reviews. Many models of well known makes are complete junk and outdated.

I am more than happy with my Brother ink tank with Wifi, no problems at all, maybe not the fastest but reliable.

Probably going to get a lot of hate here...
but we have an HP Envy 7640e all-in-one with an HP Instant Ink subscription.
In the last three years we've put 15k pages through it, with hardly a hiccup.

Epson use to be the best, how sad to see, Look at color laser printers, they are expensive but a good one is really good quality prints. No ink problems
