what software should one use for Automatic backups for your MY DOCUMENTs, IMAGES, EXCEL and WORD (I use time machine and Aperture Vaults on my Mac) but are looking for something easy for my sister's laptop (I think win7):) , that she can just click backup and it will backup the my documents etc, (probably something where you can browse for a missing file in the folders on the backup drive), thanks.

If she has an internet connection, and the stuff to backup is not too big, just use DropBox. Work directly out of the DropBox folder, and everything is automatically backed up instantly (as long as there is an internet connection).

You could also use Google Drive, or any of the other free cloud storage services. Nice thing is you also get automatic version history of your files, so that you can go back to any version of a document in your box.

Pro Opinion: Best paid solution = Genie9

Specifically Genie Backup Manager

Genie Timeline and Zoolz (similar to online storage like Google Drive etc. but only automatic) needs improvement...
