Hi All,

I'm using an iPhone 3GS - not Jailbroken.

One of the features I miss from my Sony Ericsson is the "Sense Me" function for creating playlist. Basically it divided the screen into 4 blocks and labeled them Sad, Happy etc. You could then pull your cursor into any of the 4 spheres and it would select songs applicable to that mood. So if you went far into sad it would compile a playlist of slow, sad songs. Extreme happy, would be fast, upbeat songs. And somewhere in between would create "Easy Listening" type stuff in a playlist.

Is there anything similar available as an app to make this happen?

EDIT: Or how would I setup Genius Playlists to do this?

EDIT 2: It seems Genius might do what I require, but do I want to send data to Apple?

Use Genius - exactly. First just get a US iTunes account (instructions on the iPhone tips page 1), and send in the data. It's exactly what you're looking for.

Ok. So, should I assume it does not work with the SA iTunes store?

damnit they want a a credit card....

You can get it without one - follow the instructions posted on the first page of the iPhone tips page. It works beautifully.

I activated it last night and it works nicely.

I'm on SA store and my cc is already linked.
