Autopage Beware.....please Help...

My recent autopage account shows 4 phone calls that i made to Greece (mobile) .charges are
85.79 r+vat for 02:03 min call off peak,46.19+vat for 1:33 min peak time,2.63+VAT for 00:45 min
off peaak and 180.63+vat for 3:15 min off peak time.I have made these calls .I also made a call to
Lithuania (mobile) for 1:32 min peak time and was charged 138.72 +vat.I queried with autopage the charges .
The cost of a call to Greece (mobile) is 2.30 per min(Telkom charge)+ 1.55 per min MTN charge,which
amounts to 3.85 per minute,why am i charged these ridiculous amounts?First i spoke to Lester on 30/6/2007
,that gave me a querry number 81954 and said he will phone back in 24-48 hours.Never called me back.
Than i spoke to Patson on 9/7/2007.He said that Lester never put my cell number into
the query,so the querry got cancelled.He put in new querry 82485.promised to call me back.
Never did.than i spoke to Susan on 11/7/2007.The same story.I also spoke to Mapula on
16/7/2007.The same story.Than i spoke to Jackie Mapula from credit control that was very
nice and promised that she will sort it out,she put in a new querry 82916.Never called me back.
Than i spoke to cindy on 17/7/2007 she said that Jackie has the reply from IT department
and that she is busy with the customer on the phone but as soon as she finishes,she will call me
back.ON 19/7/2007 i phoned Jackie myself(that is 2 day long phone call later).She
told me that they never had electricity so she could not call me back,but she was just about
to when i called.Anyway,the answer from It department was that the charges were correct
and the 180.63+vat for 3;15 min call that i was charged are due to the fact that the call
was in fact to Greece and was 3;15 min......I REST MY CASE....btw jackie logged another call
with it department now.No 83230.and she called within 30 min back to explain that the charges
are in fact correct because for overseaes calls they are using different charges and
nobody can tell what they are..........



I want to complain about this to as many people as i can.Anyone has any
e-mail adresses of people that might be interested???

are times you mentioned MM:SS or HH:MM? as in 3h15m? Also... autopage are on hellopeter... go nail 'em.

I also made a call to Lithuania (mobile) for 1:32 min peak time and was charged R138.72. This was to my sick granma who also can't spikka Engleesh too good.

umm, so you are complaining about the high cost of telecommuncations in South Africa then...

If you have any luck please feel free to come back and let us know..

If you are in the mood to burn something please choose either the closest Telkom office or Ivy's office...

Apart from that there is nothing anyone can do.
