Autopage "illegal billing"

While connected to Afrihost IPN on my phone, Autopage, My SP, billed me for data OUT OF BUNDLE, amounting to thousands. Their defense? they own the sim and are legally entitled to charge me for data provided by Afrihost.
Am I unjustified in believing that i got screwed ?Ironiclly, with nothing changed, they stopped the billing after three months? AND ICASA support this view. What a joke!!!

Did you fail to pay Afrihost? On Afrihost APN your agreement with Afrihost is binding to you. If it says something that when you fall in areas you are becoming debtor to third-party (Autopage in this case), then - maybe. If doesn't say so, your data feed should be cut.

I can imagine that you will start receive bills from MTN when you fail to pay Autopage, as network is owned by MTN.

Were you using the "afrihost" APN, or did the setting revert to "internet"?
