Loaded AVG 8.0 free edition. Can anyone help or enligten me on how to clear the Yahoo search list that is part of the AVG toolbar on Explorer or better still remove the Yahoo search block fro the AVG toolbar. The Google search block have an option to clesr list but not Yahoo.

During installation it asks if you want the toolbar, uncheck the yes box. run the installer again and you'll go through the setup options where you can unselect it.

Friggs Thanks for possitive help

killadoob - so what then?

You install firefox. Or Opera. Depending which one you prefer. Preferably firefox.

And finally, you uninstall AVG. It's the crappest dude, trust me, take it out now!

Yea, I downgraded to version 7.5. Version 8 just did not do it for me.

They apparently only supporting version 7.5 till the 25th of June, after that no updates or support!!!! I also tried downgrading and got this popup in the middle of my monitor tell me about the support ending!!!!!

Now I've installed Avast!!! It's way better than AVG 8 so far!!!!

Ignore the stupid popup. It is not true. They only "stop" support for 7.5 at the end of the year by the way. It has been extended. AVG FTW!
