AVI to DVD converter please???

OK, I give up, I'm trying to convert an avi file to a dvd iso so that I can create a DVD that will play in most DVD players, the ones that I've found only converts to mpeg, I want it to convert to vob file with a menu structure.

Any help would be great!!

can also combine and merge the avi's of a 2 disc VCD to create a single DVD

best one i have used is VSO DivX to DVD now known as ConvertXtoDVD.

note it is a trial version however it adds a watermark saying buy it but it automatically creates a menu and if u got the burner available from same website u can burn it once done which is .VOB files.

noticed though it comes down to personal choice as this is a quick one click solution so to speak.

it takes around 1hr or so depending on ur Specs to do a movie and less than that for a typical downloaded program such as 24.S05E16.PROPER.HDTV.XviD-LOL.avi

I also use Nero Vision Express and write DVD at slowest speed possible find it gives better results like no skipping and jumping on some LG dvd players

Yeah, I noticed that if you write a DVD more than X4 some older DVD players are unable to read the DVD. My LG gives no problems with it tho.

If you have a mac, use iDVD, it should come standard. If you have a PC, I'm not sure

Sheesh... I haa to nuke that program as it is just way to unstable and gave so many "bla bla.exe has encountered and error and needs to close" May just be my hardware but I doubt it!
