This video shows Mirage F1 flying extremely low between canyon rocks in the desert similarly to the spaceships in the movie directed by George Lucas, STAR WARS. It contains some air refuelling operations, low take offs, and more.

Got to hand it to the USN / USMC pilots - landing on an aircraft carrier isn't easy

AFAIK all USMC pilots start life out as ground troops before going into USN pilot training.

Correction :

It was a RAF Spitfire (602 Sqdn) that attacked F/M Rommel.

The Spitfire was piloted by a SA pilot , Sqdn Leader Chris Le Roux.

Le Roux is classified as MIA after failing to return from a cross channel flight to England in 1944.
