That number will join my 'Blocked' number list...

Ignore sms, email and phone calls from Scamral. They are illegal methods which they are using to intimidate you into paying and getting E-Tagged.
If you answered a call from Scamral by mistake, you can just hang up. You are not obligated to talk to them or explain why they have not received your payment.
If you really feel the need to answer the phone, you can tell them:
1. that you do not have any agreement with them and that they must stop harassing you. Hang up.
or
2. ask them to hold and put them on hold indefinitely.
or
3. that you have handed over the bills to be disputed and you will not pay until all disputes has been resolved or until you are legally advised to pay. Hang up the phone.
or
4. You have lodged a dispute. At this point in time your disputes have not been resolved and you have been advised not to pay until all your disputes have been resolved. Hang up the phone.
Do not provide any personal information over the phone. It is not safe. Do not provide an email address.
The only legal method for them to communicate with you is they must post you a tax invoice.
Then, if you really feel obligated to do something, you can remain anonymous and query your invoices using http://cvsonline.co.za/etoll/
While you are querying your invoices Scamral cannot take any further action against you.
You will also be assisting OUTA and your fellow motorists in compiling statistics that may be used in defense of non payers or to challenge this unjust law in court.
This is a free service provided by OUTA but bear in mind that they rely on donations to continue the fight against E-Toll, so please support them if you can.
Be informed. Know your rights.
