No, because I still think those are b***shots, my sceptical opinion and my logical deduction tell me not to believe them.

Development starts low and works up. If you have shots, as good as your intended final product, over a year before your dev platform is even available, those are target renders by definition.
 
After seeing the hyped up Killzone 2 fake gameplay footage i wont believe in anything for the PS3 unless its a proper review of the game. Have already had enough lies and PR k@k from pretty pictures for PS3 games.

i think the graphics are valid... somewhat awesome... dont see how they better then half life 2 on my geforce 6600GT...

and looking at gears of war on the xbox... nothing to really compare.

mapping a photo onto a well built model is easy.

i think the ps3 is an awesome console... but my decisions to go for xbox was price centric... cuz as far as i can see they seem to be the same in other departments. er... except ps3 doesnt have gears of war :D

I never said they where fake, I said they could be. It was also my opinion that the PS3 might be in trouble with Sony demoing the same screen shots again. I took that from what you gave me.

The link I gave you was from IGN with an article where Sony tried to show that the video they showed wasn't pre-rendered. It's was from beginning last year. Nothing about Sony demoing the screenshots again.
 
Playing with semantics here Retro,

The pictures are real. They are possibly not in game pictures. The montage was in the news yesterday and it contained pictures which where over 2 years old. Why the sudden revival of old pictures. Sony re-showed a demo to prove that it wasn't fake but they never played a game they just showed a moving camera.

My opinion. Getaway does not look like that in game therefore fake/inaccurate images.
 
These graphics aren't as good as the ones in GTA IV's trailer. Should we be calling BS on this release as well?

Unless there is a trailer I missed I didn't think GTA IV was in game footage?

Sorry but this is just like the Motorstorm hype, they show us things which are fantastic and then release games which don't match the expectations. Not that motorstorm looks bad but Sony made it look so much better.

I dunno, ask the guy who posted them. But why is the PS3 suddenly in trouble cause some dude posted the pics again? That's what I don't get.

GavinMannion, I don't see Sony saying anywhere that these pics are ingame. What they are saying is that it's not pre-rendered. And that was a year ago already. It's as if you're looking for reasons to diss Sony?

I don't see people running around calling fake and bull**** on all the 360 trailers out there, even though they're just videos as well.
