I had renewed early in the year that legendary Internet Promo 5 promo.
The sim card had suddenly stopped working, I had been swapping the sim in and out across many devices since receiving it.
I walked into the Telkom store at Fourways Crossing and was promptly assisted by 'Annita'.
I had been dreading the experiencing prior to entering the store as I had not brought my proof of residence as was advised by an agent from the Bedfordview store last week.
I smiled away when greeted by Annita and explained I needed a sim swap.
I produced my ID and she quickly identified my account.
She went to the back office and quickly returned with a new SIM.
She updated the details on the workstation and handed me the new SIM.
I did not even have to pay.
I was in and out in under 4 minutes !!
As I got to the router I inserted the sim and it worked right away.
"i-Telkom Ayisafani " ---paroding the Mmusi Maimane DA ad.
