bad packet loss on Axxess

I'm having quite a lot of packet loss on my Axxess 75+75GB capped account, compared to my WebAfrica 90GB capped account:

I ran the ICMP ping tests concurrently over the same ADSL line with an interval/timeout value of 200ms with my Mikrotik router.

I've now done repetition of my test, ending at about 17:15, and now Axxess is far worse! Like Webafrica has no packet loss whatsoever and Axxess comes in at 4.4%:

Here are my Zabbix graphs showing the terrible packet loss (in red) on Axxess & WebAfrica over the past 5 days. Unfortunately I don't have monitoring data before middle of last week, however I can say that this heavy packet loss issue started before June 31st:




These graphs do overlap quite a bit on the time scale. The increased latencies on WebAfrica on the 16th was due to downloads/streaming videos.

Seems like I'll be moving over to WebAfrica on a permanent basis very shortly.

It can be both. You'd typically expect it to be with the line though.

In my case it is most definitely Axxess, since I've ran tests simultaneously on the same run over both accounts and Axxess had packet loss and WebAfrica had none.

I was just about to say how well my Axxess account was working - been fine all week after my OpenWeb and Vox got capped.

Sadly tonight (Friday 28/8/2015) exactly 8:40pm all went to pot again, buffering to hell and eventually timing out the live streams. XBMC/Kodi live http.

Hopeless!
I guess Afrihost will be the same so haven't bothered trying.

I know this Pinelands cape town DSLAM sucks but this is ISP related for sure.

Bump. People should see this, also I'm experiencing packet loss as well. Latency being bad is fine I guess, but when it comes to packet loss I just can't take it. I mean at every first of the month first hour there's still packet loss. And I switch to afrihost free 1gb and there's none, and quickly switch back to Axxess. Making sure I haven't used any data, just doing packet loss tests. Theres a lot.
