Axxess / Afrihost streaming in Cape Town useless AGAIN!

Everything fell apart last year around November. Mid April the "upgrades" to the network had been done we were told - and it seemed OK for about a month. This whole week or so has been shocking.

Now it is totally unusable in Cape Town. 8:40pm Friday. Been the same all week.
Regardless if you have (and sync at) 10Mbps on your line - you won't even stream (http or rtmp) at 2mbps!

Unusable unless you just want to send an email or two!

I'm beginning to think we were lied to about the IPC capacity upgrade they say they did......
 
Was streaming fine the whole evening (on 10Mb) and now at 21:55 everything went down the toilet! Now Twitch buffers like every 10 seconds. Luckily WebAfrica works fine and they just gave me free 50GB!

That's a **** thing to happen, but there's always Daredevil Movie on ETV if you want to relax ...
 
The IPC issue that they supposedly sorted is a BS story just to keep their customers of their backs. I'm moving to a new ISP end of the month. 2 months ago when I called the help desk to move me back to normal uncapped as I believed they sorted the IPC issue the agent told me "I wouldn't do that if I were you sir" and then told me that's all he's gonna say. So I got the message loud and clear.

I don't know what they supposed to have done, but it wasn't much.

6:30am to 7:30am all perfect. Get home 7pm onwards (when i actually want to use it) all crap and useless.
 
Anyone run into issues lately with axxess? My 10mb uncapped line now no longer hits higher then 350kb/s for the last 4 days.
Accounts page does not show that i am being managed.
 
Suddenly my 2mb business uncapped line is also buffering Netfilx and Hulu+. Who can I go with that will have decent streaming?
