Axxess already has their handy prepaid voucher system going and its pretty nifty considering you can pick up a pack of smokes,a coke and a 1gig prepaid voucher all at the convience of an Engen.

However Axxess should consider adding "Local Only" to their prepaid.
Openweb should also hop on the band wagon and try this pre-paid voucher stuff for I.S accounts.

Any one agree with me?
Lets try make it happen :)

I think IS sell there ADSL bandwidth differently than SAIX do, where SAIX resellers run up a overall bill over all users and pay SAIX at the end of the month, IS packages are complete, so wether the user used 1oo MB or all 10 GB of his 10GB local-only IS account, the reseller has to pay IS for the entire account (flat-rate).

So resellers can do this with SAIX and allow users months to use, IS resellers would have to do one big balancing trick :)

(I could be wrong, this is something I've gathered over time; no conclusive references :p)

They should, because when you go to Axxess's website, and view the options for local only, you will see that they've got two columns, one for prepaid and the other for monthly.

I've fired off an email, requesting clarification, will let you know.

Got a reply this morning from them.

Hi Librarian

Unfortunately at this stage we are only selling international prepaid vouchers at Engens and pick ‘n pay outlets, however I have brought the idea of local prepaid voucher to the attention of our Axxess Directors, so hopefully in the next few months local prepaid vouchers will be sold.

I am glad to hear that we have made a good impression on you and I sincerely hope to continue doing just that.

Thank you

Regards

Maybe those of you who really are interested, and willing, to buy local prepaid should start sending in those emails. ;) :)

Not difficult. The just get a small IS a/c and then do a first come first serve basis. That way they can be fairly certain that the won't make a loss.

My nearest Engen is 15km away so it is much more convenient buying it online.
