ADSL 626 Account - Axxess DSL's NEW AFTER HOURS unshaped account. Ideal for night Gamers and home users.

How does it work?
During the week, from 6PM to 6AM and Weekends from Friday 6PM to Monday 6AM, you will get full unshaped Internet access. (Please note with a 626 account, out side of the times above, you will have NO Internet connectivity).

Has anyone tried this account out yet for gaming? low ping? etc...
 
They used to work great when they were using SAT3 bandwidth for the accounts, they've now switched them to SEACOM bandwidth and it sucks now. Used to get 320ms to the US WoW servers with my 626 account now getting anything from 600-1200ms pretty much what I'm getting with any of the SEACOM accounts.

I see that they've removed the 626 product from their main page.
 
Wslms friend, I have had some experience with the 626, playing XBOX after hours to US servers - has been very good, local latency excellent as well.
2 guys where playing Battlefield 2142 on a 384, and they both had 100ms pings (which is good for the line !)
HOWEVERm as grimm mentions.. the using Seacom now, and untill the network upgrades are done, I will suggest waiting till about next month..then your latencies will be cool again
 
i also had high latency issues with wow eu, lotro eu, and LOL eu, on both the 626 and R19 unshaped basic accounts, back on my saix prepaid for international gaming.
 
not worth it...got the same ping from the axxesslite package...at 1/3 of the price...as mentioned above, pings have gone for a ball of 3@%!
