Just a thought...

But in a paralel universe telkom decides to give us all 8Mb/s or even 20Mb/s adsl lines... what happens to these uncapped express packages?

I mean, from 4 to 8 is double the amount. Would these packages continue to exist for any speed? Or would they limit you to 4Mb/s or something?
I doubt they could keep giving out bandwidth to that amount.

I u look at it this way they have 2 options or they make the line faster or they make the bandwidth cheaper i think they will just make the line faster there for they still make 400% on the bandwidth and they can increase the dsl rental every year by 8% to they still gona make lots of money

They can double the speed, but it doesn't mean everyone will double the amount that they download. (Of course, some morons will.) My uncapped account is already idle most of the time. It just means that the things you download will download faster, and your account will be idle more often than now.

by the time we get double speed, the planet probably has quad that amount. and in time harddisks will get bigger, movies bigger, websites more rich and so on and so forth.
