AXXESS + HUAWEI E5372 LTE ISSUE

Hey Guys

I have been browsing the forum for a couple of year and have finally decided to create a profile, (mainly due to the fact that I can not resolve my own issue), :D I have bought the E5372 through axxess and simply cannot connect to a LTE network.

I stay in Kempton Park and work in Johannesburg right accross Melrose Arch, now both areas are supposed to have full LTE coverage as per MTN's coverage map.

I have downloaded MDMA, killer app btw, and have taken the following screenshots:

If you guys have any suggestions, it would be deeply appreciated.
 
Your 3G reading is low... Never bothered to find out, but shouldn't LTE have cross/backward compatibility?
 
It should have yes, my download speed is not too bad, getting about 15mbps download on speedtest, no where close to actual LTE speeds though.
 
Not too worried about the speed, just want more stable latency, correct me if I'm wrong but LTE is meant to stabilize your latency?
 
Hmmm, interesting.

I've read an article, but for the life of me can't find it now, which stated that LTE will improve your latency as well, but we all know that the interwebs are not always reliable.

Based on the article you posted, I should be more than happy with my local latency of 54ms.

Thanks for your input, I am really not the most tech savvy guy when it comes to network related topics.

Got a new LTE sim with the device and confirmed with Axxess that my LTE subscription is active/

I have now given up. LOL
