Axxess Mobile Data - Cant Connect

I just received a axxess mobile data sim this week. Connected for about 4 hours yesterday but now it fails to connect again. I have already had them re-provision the sim twice this week. Anybody else with similar problems? and/or solutions? Their call centre does not seem to help much besides asking to restart the phone and making sure the APN is correct.
 
Yeah had the same problem again today. Seems to happen with alarming regularity.
 
Still not working, think this must be the 6th time they carried out "maintenance". Next best alternative to axxess?

Afrihost, I'm with Axxess now and haven't had issues. I was with Afrihost before and they were great too.
 
Same here Muki, it's hugely frustrating.

Tickets re this don't get answered, excessive long waits to call centre.

I have had it too. Back from whence we came?
 
Yeah I believe it is an MTN issue, or at least they got blamed in my case.

It doesn't explain how my account cancellation I involked yesterday magically re-instated itself overnight :wtf:
 
same here, called last night to tell them its not working again.

Axxess lady can you please reply to PM or provide some feedback.
 
Hi kayvee, we sent a whole list of SIMs through to our upstream provider, they ensured us that everything would be fine now. Can you please test again and let us know if you are still having issues? If you are having issues please email us on [email protected].

All resolved now, seems to be 100%, thank you.
 
Also having problems connecting here, only got my sim the other day, just want to check I have the APN correct? Its just the APN name axxess and no user and pass right?

Yes its just APN name axxess. Seems to be affecting new sims only.
 
Yeah, that's what I'm using, suppose I'll have to contact them. Day 16 and haven't been able to use 1b of data yet, not impressed :(
