So far axxess have been very good to their clients, let's wait and see, it is difficult to congratulate or condem before it has been tested IMHO

I kind of have a feeling that axxess are going to pull through - they were the first to offer these accounts and their entire reseller business is based on this - telkom cant just do what they want and indirectly shut down established businesses (well they can but I still hope not). I think they would seriously have to justify it.

Maybe they are going to switch over to IS, and then strike a partnership with MrBEEP to use his proxy service, thereby creating fast Unshapped ADSL ...

Isn't this 1st of November a step backwards....as per usual....it feels like the internet community always have to fight for every single bit on the internet. SA sucks in that way.

Doesn't matter - they still won't be able to offer 30gb for R300. Axxess were specifically mentioned in the Internet Solutions letter naming ISP's that were 'lying' to Telkom and jipping the cap system. Right or wrong, I don't think IS will allow them to do the same.

The IS corporate mind is not like that of Telkrap, which is clearly dictatorial coupled to greed. Methinx good sense will prevail and a mutually-beneficial negotiation for the good of all (including the client base) will result...

Ummm, I think you guys may have a little too much faith in IS... I'm not entirely sure, but IS don't look like they're fighting any of our battles for us - so they have a bigger cap; they have to in order to get clients... that's business.

Correct dear sir that is business as Im sure you know it, end of the day they offer the best deal on the plate atm and people will go for it. Ringed true via the 30gig R200 saix account period, and it will most probably now with the IS accounts since if AXXESS doesnt end up with magic, there is nothing I can think of atm offering a better package.
