Hi All

Anybody else experiencing problems with International traffic using Axxess as ISP on Openserve Fibre (100/50mbps)?
This problem has been present for a while - but does not get resolved.
I opened several tickets with Axxess, but to no avail.

The problem basically lie with international download speeds only. This is crawling (sometimes) at below 10mbps with very intermittant speeds.
The upload component, however, is unaffected, always uploading at full speeds (45 - 48mbps).

Single tread FPT download is also severely restricted - this appears to be throttled to about 100k/s (Initially, the download will start at 3-4MB/s, but then drops down to 100 - 200k/sec). FTP Upload is unaffected - running at full speeds.

I am using a capped account with Axxess - this should not be shaped or throttled.

Weirdly, some downloads (ie Steam updates, Blizzard updates, Nvidia driver downloads, etc) will download at full speed.

Any ideas? I am beyond frustrated with this.

Thanks!

have you tried another isp? and tested their bandwidth?

We can give you a test account as well.

My fibre just went down, on OpenServe with Axxess. See there is a notice up on their website about the northern regions

Any chance I could get a test account? I've got a 100/50 with Vox and I'm curious to see if your provider is more stable. Was about to get a cheap DSL account on your site but I'm not sure if that would give an accurate test?

Sure drop me a PM.

I've also had it with Axxess and OpenServe -- 4/5MB on a 100MB line between 4 and 10pm? Then you log a ticket, which gets ignored. Phone them and get told to send them 3 different Speedtest results when it happens again?!

What a load of crock!

I've experienced similar wit the same combination. Weirdest thing is that I vet artefacts when streaming via Kodi and Terrarium TV . YouTube not affected. Use same device on another network, and no issues. Maybe I should also get a test account for a few days to see if it goes away.

Just an Update.

Still sitting with the same problem.
Again contacted Axxess support with this. International speedtest on the Saix.net site very slow (3-4mbps on 100mbps fibre). Upload speed still running at full speed (45mbps).

Again, Axxess support asking for Tracert to www.google.com

Also, now spinning me some story regarding that the international network is not under their management and they cannot do anything about that - What utter bull*****.

Is there nobody here that can help us with this Axxess issue?
