Axxess Rep needed

Maybe I was spoilt by Afriman while I was an Afrihost customer (don't envy his position now :D), but a axxess rep would be now nice since I am axxess customer now.

Any other axxess users thinking the same?
 
You could still bug Afriman. He would then have to bug his co-workers at the sister-company....
 
I cancelled my account on the 30th with Axxess, got so frustrated last night that I requested a refund for this month and cancellation of the account. Refund granted I immediately bought an different. I probably should not have gone to Afrihost, duh. Bought a 6Mbs Business Uncapped, not doing too badly, will see the next 24hrs.

Err... dude, you do realize Afrihost OWNS Axxess and both of them uses the exact same infrastructure and backbone right?
 
Axxess dont give a **** they are the most useless support people on this earth. I would rather drink fourty litres of camel piss than deal with them.
 
So, there have been speed issues since yesterday (at least). Anyone know anything about that?

I was talking about me though. Speeds seem to be back to normal now. I haven't been unhappy with speeds on MTN thus far actually. No throttling yet either. I feel bad for you guys! I know how much it sucks. I clocked 128GB on a 1Mbps account for last month since the 11th....

But, we Do need an Axxess rep here, unless Afriman is willing to cover them as well...

Wish I had seen this before I signed up for a 2Mb Uncapped line for this month. 17GB in a week and I'm being managed due to 'high usage'.

They are one of the cheapest accounts you can get though. If you need to download a lot get business. It's like R100 more on 2meg. Completely worth it.

After shaping my account for downloads of 17GB in a week, they'll have to literally kiss my arse to get me to sign up with them again.

Not a loss for me at all. I've been trying to get them to sort this out since Friday. First I was told that the line worked 100% on their side, then I was given another account to test, which worked fine. Switched back to my account, fsckall progress. Sent them a few emails, no response. Contacted them on Twitter and all of a sudden my account is being managed - first time I'm hearing about this.

Would rather spend more elsewhere and actually get competent service.

They are run separately and their policies are different. (notice I didn't say better, just different ;-)

Yeah.

That's why for people that don't mind being on MTN I always recommend Axxess business. Same quality account at a cheaper price, from a company that actually updates their network status page.

:erm: OK then.. If you think that that's good customer service...

And anyone who experiences service this crap is never going to give this pathetic company more money.. Anyone who does is just stupid.
 
20 minutes now. I wonder how long they keep you on hold if you're a Business account holder.
