Hey

So can anyone else on the forums tell me what your average usage is.

We use about 40G a month and since January we started getting throttled by afrihost so we swapped over to axxess, when i phoned them initially the support told me its strange because that isn't that high, eventually it came down to a policy change so we change to axxess.

Guess what same thing, the throttle is so terrible that i cant even download a 4-6mb driver, browsing and even youtube is fine but http downloads are pathetic.

40G surely is not that much in comparison to the top user base across the network.

this was never a issue till afrihost and axxess moved away from IS, why now?

Which account? 1mb? 4mb? 10mb?

40gb is ridiculous and pathetic. Can't be right.

Axxess are not doing the just uncapped express accounts anymore afaik. Also, they no longer using the 10 day rolling model afaik.

Axxess is owned by Afrihost.

Ya im aware of that.

Maybe they should tell us exactly what they are doing except driving away customers

nobody seem to kno how mtn "manage" their customers. if they give their bis customers 200meg i guess 40gb on adsl might be possible...

Still going strong.

Must say I'm mighty impressed with this account at the mo. Just under 150gb and no signs of any throttling or shaping of any kind!!

Yup - terrible - I cancelled last night with Axxess.. since they moved to MTN/Neotel its pathetic.

Looking for another provider atm for uncapped.

It's pathetic and I am cancelling this month. on 1mbit uncapped I can hardly watch Youtube after only 9.48GB of usage.

Absolutely ridiculous

They might not be signing up new clients - but I still have mine. Being with them since 2009, still running like a charm. . .
