Hey all

Would like to know what the general thoughts are on Axxess?

Any big problems anyone has experienced or any reasons why they are so cheap?

Do there support levels lack due to there low prices?

Any info is very welcome :)

Thank you

Their not so cheap:eek:
Anyway, they never gave any problems when I was with them

One slight problem is when I tried to sign up for an account last night the page wouldnt load.

I've been with them since Feb 2007 on 1 GB international and 1 GB local per month, no problems :) Not sure about support, but the few times I have e-mailed I've had timeous and helpful responses.

Same here - on axxess prepaid.

No problems so far, except that the attendants at Engen sometimes doesn't understand what you want to purchase... (haven't had issues with attendants, but others have issues with the attendants not understanding).

I normally buy Local Prepaid on a monthly basis from them - no problems
I realized it's easier to buy online with C/Card than at Engen or Pick 'n Pay.

Axxess rocks. Good prices. Good service. Nice features. No problems from my side. :)

We using Axxess at work, running a 4mbps line with 80GB cap, no problems:)

Axxess is awesome, I bought a 1g "now" account from them and was using it 2mins later, another 2mins later someone from Axxess phoned me
to ask if he could help me set it up

I've recently switched over to them from WebAfrica due to their competitive and lower prices. I did everything online in less than 5 minutes or so, ordered a 3 gig shaped account and a 10 gig saix local only account. I haven't used their support yet so can't really comment on it, but hope it's up to par with WebAfrica.

I use Axxess, don't have any problems. Support is normally good.

The only two issues I have with them are: if you use a credit card, they/their payment company keeps your details forever, and you can't get them deleted; and yesterday they sent out totally incorrect usage stats (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?p=1253272).

I would still recommend them - the usage stats are a minor issue, and if you buy vouchers or pay via EFT the credit card issue won't affect you.

Hi Cathryn

You can delete credit card details in the CCP(Customer Control Panel):
My Account -> Update credit card -> Remove

Been on Axxess since Jan 06. Initially they were pretty slacking in the customer service dept, then came the switch to their new system which took months to go live.

They've improved a lot lately. Haven't had any issues. I can't say for other ISP's online purchase system but Axxess' system is great. U can change your cap for the next month with ease and fairly intuitive.

Cool - is that new? When I emailed axxess about a month ago I was told that the credit card details were stored forever and I couldn't delete.

This is much better :-)

@axxess

When will you be able to change your default payment method online?
Is there a reason why you have to phone your accounts department to do this?

I use a Now! account and am generally pleased. Support is good, as long as you e-mail, but the people picking up phones on weekends are a bit useless.

Still, the service Axxess provides is excellent so you'll probably never have to phone for support.
