aXXo, Blueman, How do they do it?...

Ja, it should come to DVD quality. You might have to play around with the settings. Always worked nicely for me.

I'll check what happened with the link.

Thought so, but which settings, btw I'm a big noob here, which settings should i look at, maybe increase the size, or is there a way to do more passes.

Need input(lol i watched Short Circuit on ETV today, corny i know):p

compressing any movie to 700 megs is always gonna cause some fuzzies but overall its brilliant.

Autogk has worked for me since 2005 - i can't find any tool like it that does everything in one.alot of the apps make you encode the audio and mark off video points before you can run conversion.Autogk 2.55 is out.

mkv is a different format/container to DivX/XviD which is what aXXo uses. Yes it is better quality but the file sizes are much larger and won't play on a lot of media players or DivX capable DVD players.

yes unfortunately you wont be able to watch MKVs using your DVD player, thu newer media players support them. however a 700MB mkv Video looks alot better than a 700mb divx video. file sizes are larger coz rippers want the outcome to be in HD, not coz they have to make it large.
