Well i seem to have made good use of Azureus in my first month of having ADSL, unfortunately now i can't get the damn Green Smilies anymore :(

I reset my router and re-inserted all my account details, played with uPNP, but nothing seems to get rid of my Firewalled, DHT Firewalled or NAT error issues.

Anybody have any ideas of what might have gone wrong. I've tried using the Azureus FAQ to sort the issues out, but to no avail.

No luck with uTorrent either. I imagine it must be a hardware issue with my modem/router.

I see the router has NAT and Firewall settings that i can turn off. Is that wise (i am using XP's firewall)

Make sure you have port forwarded your Azureus UDP and TCP port number to your LAN IP.

Also make sure you add your Azureus UDP and TCP port as an exception in the Windows Firewall settings.

I would also adise upgrading to the latest version of Azureus as they seem to have fixed some problems with incorrect reports on your firewall status.

Ok, my NAT error seems to be sorted, but i still get the DHT Firewalled issue.

That means you haven't forwarded your UDP port correctly on your router or you haven't added the UDP port as an exception in Windows Firewall (you must select UDP not TCP), so your Windows Firewall should have two exceptions - one for the TCP port and one for the UDP.

I disabled my DHT tho, it wastes bandwidth.
