B&H Photo Video Purchasing Limit?

Yeah, that's the non-L, non-IS version. Still a great lens by all accounts.

Oh I get you, so it's this one then:

I see it's US$ 960 so B&H is cheaper, although PriceJapan may charge less for shipping, never know.

It's a popular reseller for purchases of domestic market Sony Vaio and Panasonic Toughbook laptops.

That link also appears to show the EF 100mm f2.8 USM. I'm not having much luck finding it on the Japanese sites, but this is the one you should be looking for:

Finally! It's beautiful, brings a tear to my eye. :)

Off to the Berg this weekend, hopefully I'll have some pics for you chaps next week.

Awesome - thanks for sharing your journey :) I love waiting for- and receiving parcels... especially with camera related contents :)

I didn't even know the 100mm f/2.8 IS L even existed. :o

Okay guys, here are a few shots from the weekend with the lens.

Sorry I meant to post this:
http://translate.googleusercontent.....co.za&usg=ALkJrhgcM_1f6oxYmVLLw7thrThzRvO6lg

It's the one with the 2010 Camera Grand Prix award.
Ordering: EF10028LMIS

The cheapest is here:
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/kazamidori/4960999635170/
EF100mm F2.8L マクロ IS USM 3554B001 EF10028LMIS
89,999 Yen = 1,050 USD

It's much cheaper to buy in USA. Although if you add 5% for PriceJapan commission and shipping the total may or may not be less than B&H's, who knows. The nice thing about buying from JPN is that there is no such thing as 'authorised dealer' there, they honour your warranty and PJ takes care of it. The Japanese shops are less paranoid than New York stores when dealing with international customers.
