B525 router settings

Can anyone steer me in direction for settings on Huawei B525 router cause my friend only gets 3mb on his R250 subscription...

Well which router does he have I no you said B525 but what last digits does he have ? It’s should read as B525-65a

Also keep in mind that rain runs on two spectrums the 1800mhz and the 2600mhz ...

Get hold of the huawei band tool, check out your signal stats, and force bands there.

Rain has band 3 (1800MHz) and depending on the frequencies your router support either Band 38 (2600) or Band 41 (2600MHz)

It’s show this in the specs sheet Huawei E5885Ls-93a: * FDD-LTE Band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/19/20
* TDD-LTE: Band 38/40/41

Could mean tower does not have 2600mhz band. Only some has. Mine also only has the weaker 1800mhz band.

also you have to make sure you're forcing 2600TDD and not just 2600...
