B618 or B315 Router/modem for LTE

B315 supports LTE - up to 150Mbps
B618 supports LTE-A - up to 600Mbps.

B618 is more future proof as LTE-A is still being rolled out.
Be wary of the bands you want to connect to when buying the B618 as there is a 22d and 65d model.
 
Thanks guys I need to double check the bands, Its going be Cellc Roaming on MTN LTE.

Depends on which network you get signal from, there are different models, check it out.

And remember, these two little bunny ears antennas do not give better throughput than the internal one (typically).

I am not too worried about getting massive speed. As long as its stable and gives me above 5mbps+ I am happy :)
 
I'm not using it. It was free with the uncapped Telkom LTE story, that R599 jobby, and I have another one, 315 I think that Afrihost gave me with a Rain SIM card, and I'm on fibre now, so it's just too much stuff....
