Backuppc Help

Hi guys,

I have installed backuppc, and have mounted a FREENAS nfs share to my local machine.

The mount is pointing to the default TopDir for Backuppc (/var/lib/backuppc) however after changing the mount, I can't seem to run backuppc.

If anyone has some experience with this, it would be much appreciated if you could share some knowledge.

Have you checked the logs for errors? Possibly looking for the original mount point?

I seem to be getting a permission error when trying to write to the nfs share. I also can't seem to find the exports file

compare the permissions of the new & old mount pointS?

Log in as the backup user. Change to that directory and check if you can create a file, eg. "touch 1".
If it returns an error, then you have a permissions issue.
Check the permissions as previously suggested.

I found the error(s).

Some were to do with permissions and the other was a naming issue
