Bad coverage in Fourways area for 3G?

Not sure if it's only myself but between Fourways and Bryanston my 3G connection isn't all that great for most of the time. Anyone else confirm this?

To be honest I've only noticed this issue the past 2 weeks.
 
I'm in Fourways, a little towards the Lonehill side, and yep, our 3g sucks. Intermittent, at best.
 
Damn... this isn't good - I jumped ship from VC because I played around on a MTN line last year and it was fair for day to day business dealings - but lately in this area... it's been terrible.

Thanks for posting and confirming (was kinda hoping it was just my contract...)
 
Eish, that really rules out any place I can get a decent service so far :-)
 
Move to Sandton the phone Companies don't give a ball for you peasants ... let them eat edge they laugh to each other during their weekly anti-competition meetings in the Sandton sun Executive suite while snorting coke and tapping a strippers butt

Its been like that for ever, i used to work in 4ways for years and all of us on MTN could only conect with GPRS, our office relocated now we get HSDPA
 
You kidding Isie! Damn - and it kind of makes sense, my first experience with MTN 3G connection was in PE ;-) and it was fairly quick in that area - I was surprised. It's a pity, Fourways / Bryanston part of the major business hub - we should be afforded the same benefits of good 3G connections just like other regions in SA.

The funy thing is we didnt move too far away from fourways we in rivonia now - imagine 1 offramp made all the difference :D

I deal with coverage in that area, too many bunnyhuggers put the brakes on establishing a solid network infrastructure in the areas you mention, so in fact in a case like this your neighbours are the architects of your demise sadly.

I have the same issue lately. Baan good and all of a sudden started going downhill. Now it really sucks. I'm in Northwold though
