Had to encounter this bright spark TGT007GP in a white bakkie with workers at the back.

The two lanes join into one after a robot, when I finished crossing it was already red and he was easily 50m behind me so no need to say that he flew through the red robot.

I was joining the only lane remaining, of which he forced me out since he arrives flying.

I then hoot and he does a brake check and gives me the finger.

I pass him, give him back a finger and do another brake check (I shouldn’t have but I’m tired of these morons).

And then at the next robot, he has the guts to ask me if I know how to drive...

I had my 1st roadrage incident

Stop on the side of the road to see if I have a flat tire. This guy stops in front of me. Asks for my name/surname/ID

I don't tell him, says he's going to find out anyway.

This isn't possible from just a number plate is it?

I still don't know what I did wrong, and he wouldn't tell me

I've also had that rage, hoping the person would stop so you could smash its head in, but it's not worth it to get angry and do things like brake checking. Things could quickly change from an irritation to a major accident, screwing up more than just your day.

I usually don’t react at all except hooting, but here the accumulation of red robot, forcing his way, brake check, finger made me lose it!

I know the feeling unfortunately. People are just **** nowadays, on and off the roads.

The driver of this red Peugeot RCZ - DT 41 GZ GP - decided to create its own 'special third overtaking lane' on Glenhove Road, opposite the Killarney Country Club on Friday morning, in order to beat the queue that turns right into Somerville Avenue, where the two lanes merge into one on the uphill section, going towards the 5th St intersection.

Andrews Road, Hout Bay, CT, this morning at 11.45

This is a narrow 2-way road which leads into Main Road, Hout Bay. Bumper to bumper traffic on HB Main Road, so waited. Lady comes down Andrews Road on the wrong side in RR Discovery and stops next to me at the intersection. 10 seconds later, Council refuse truck wants to turn left into Andrews Road, but she is now in the way on the wrong side. She starts hooting and waving at me to move.

After about a minute of this, she tries to drive past the narrow pavement next to the Council truck. However, there is a ditch and concrete bollards which she hits. Bumper comes off and lots of revving and tyre spinning

Traffic eases, so I leave. She is sitting in her car on the phone. Car has CFM (Somerset West) plates

Hey. Don't dis the Somerset West drivers :p

On a serious note, I tend to stay off the road as much as i can this time if the year. Somerset mall is packed and the beaches even more so. I only head back to the beach at the end of January after all the GP visitors have left.

Thanks for the feel good story.

Blue Chevrolet Spark - HKS 055 EC - on N17 highway, travelling from Secunda towards Johannesburg, just before the Exit 193 off-ramp to the R548 highway, on Wednesday 06 December 2017.

This morning, on my way to work between Barry Marais Rd & Van Wyk Louw Dr, guy decides he is not going to wait in the traffic to make his turn. He jumps into the oncoming lane, thinking I'll give him way, I stop in the lane, let him swear a bit telling to give him way, eventually he starts reversing back, I sit in my car slowly pushing forward as he reverses.

Should get a camera in my car.

I always love a happy ending!

My guess is that you will be reported for your "terrible" and "inconsiderate" driving.

Always wanted to do that with taxis.

Unfortunately, my bumper is too expensive to replace for this king of things.

Pity I didn't get the full plate this morning.

To the uppity Mercedes Station Wagon driver with an NUR plate, just because there is a 1m gap between me and the car in front, and you put on your indicator does NOT mean I need to give way to you, and you getting all agro about it doesn't help your situation. Also, do not try push me out of the lane, I'm in a 16 year old Double Cab 4x4.. my car is bigger than yours and I won't move for you.

I had a VW Caddy Maxi (HWD 038 EC) hat nearly drove over me as I was crossing a fuel station forecourt earlier this morning. He used the forecourt (corner property) to avoid the red light and shot through the exit on the other side. I ended up behind him one street down where he failed to use his indicator not once, but four times for the time he was in front of me.

People like this clearly don't belong on the roads

This bloke in a Vivo doesn't understand what the white line means and where you have to stop in relation to it at a traffic light. Or shall I say he stopped behind it and then started creeping over it. By the time the light changed he was nearly in the middle of the intersection.

You see the swag hand? That means he is allowed to creep over the line
