Bad Driving thread

Last Friday the two cars in front of me bumped into each other at low speed because both were sitting on their cellphones. So ever since then I've been actively looking if more people are doing this, and more than half the cars in traffic have people looking down at their phones while sitting in slow moving traffic. The below is yesterday afternoon at a traffic light, the car next to me, and behind me, were sitting on their phones. It's bloody scary.

You should try being on a bike - you see so many more cars. I'd estimate a good 50% of drivers are not paying attention to the road correctly.

That's the thing, they don't pay attention and then drive into each other. Completely unnecessary.

How did you take these photos.... ;)

Lmao, with my phone. Took the pic and put it back to illustrate the problem. You quite literally have people sending messages in traffic. Heads down. If it wasn't for last week's accident right in front of me I would still be a bit oblivious to this.

Ditto for running. It is insane. And my biggest irritation. Drivers in high end vehicles doing it. Seriously. Most cars have bluetooth.

It is much easier to make calls while on a bicycle, however that has now also been outlawed at most events.

that drives me fecking crazy.

said it before, but not to long ago, on Old Oak Drive in Brackenfell, saw a little white bakkie, where the passanger had a kid on her lap, and the driver had a kid in his lap!

Rubix vehicle number: Rx63
The driver of this school transport bus ran three stop signs yesterday in the Fourways area and surrounds. This is the third significant event reported to them by myself. It appears that their is no wish to secure the safety of the people they transport, and that their only interest is charging and subsequently profiting off of risk.

Do consider exploring alternatives.

A special mention goes out to the driver of the red Audi S3 with no front number plate who came screaming past me at about 160 - 170kph on the N2 heading towards PE from Jbay side. At least your numberplate is apt - GO FAST EC

Go drive like a twat somewhere else, a racecourse perhaps where you don't pose a risk to other drivers.

Stereotypes are funny because most often they are accurate, but can someone answer a question... Perhaps I can learn a bit about the psyche of a manlet.

Ford ST and RS drivers: What is it with your need to rev the crap out of your cars in traffic?

Yesterday, this clown shoe in a plateless orange(!) ST with a map designed to overfuel ridiculously, seizes a tiny gap behind me and literally runs the piece of crap to the limiter; on William Nicol in bumper to bumper traffic.

A few weeks back, tubby gummy wearing a backward cap in a shagged out RS did exactly the same thing in the same conditions.

Probably to cool down their engines so they don't catch alight and change colour to burnt orange.
