Bad Driving thread

This guy thinks robots don't apply to him. He skips 2 red robots in a row. Sorry, the footage is right against the sun so not the greatest.

^What a chop. I find it common behaviour among double cab drivers, unfortunately.

What dash cam are you using? I like the graphs and stats on the right hand side
 
FFK148EC doesn't know where the line is behind which you are supposed to stop at an intersection.

I had the other day a guy in a dark grey S3 with red lights on his dashboard (nothing on the roof, no markings on the car and no blue lights at all) tailgating litterrally at less than a meter at 120km/h on the N1 North in full traffic.

No way for me to go on the other lane to let him pass, because of the traffic and lack of gap in it so he's stuck behind for 1km and when there's a small gap I can't even brake to take as he's so close to me.

Finally there are more gaps in the traffic and I can change lane and the guy starts hooting and insulting me.

Any idea if this type of car has any right whatsoever ? Didn't look like a cop, even less like a paramedic as he was in tanker.

No rights whatsoever...

You are only legally required to move over when it is safe to do so, and if he is travelling so close to you he hinders your ability to make a safe lane change so the delay is entirely his fault.

Amarok NUD 4661 overtaking in a section of roadworks on a dangerous curve where there is an abundance of No Overtaking signs. Due to the closed lane, oncoming traffic are unable to swerve out for him.

Not doing the stereotype I hold of most double cab bakkie drivers any favours :erm:

Some times those double lines and no over taking signs are a plot they use on alternative routes to punish you or not taking the toll road. I recently went over Du Toits kloof pass and there were so many safe to pass spots with double white lines. Total BS.

Same on the road between Belfast and Lydenburg. Half of the 80 kms stuck behind coal trucks while you have plenty of visibility to pass.
