Bad Driving thread

DHL van driver CN37RXGP jumping at 60kmh a stop sign (that I was about to cross and I had right of way), I avoided him by piling on the brakes and then jumping a red robot in Randburg.

Dear X,
Firstly I'm so sorry you witnessed this. We have found who the driver was responsible and they have been issued with a warning. We have strict contractual agreements with out service partners and these include details on driving behavior.

Thank you for taking the time to highlight this to me.

Have a great day.

PM me on where you reported it, I have a dashcam vid of some bad DHL driving

Wow. That guy in the bakkie was raging hard.

And I am a firm believer that no one should not be allowed behind a wheel if caught drunken driving.

Friday afternoon in Fourways.
Woman turning left into complex turned in front of a cyclist who was cycling in the correct postion and wasn't speeding.
The cyclist flew over the car, hitting the bonnet and his bicycle smacked the car's left front wheel.

Since my partner and I were directly behind the woman, we stopped and went straight to the cyclist. He had several abrasions and had had a nasty shock and his bike was unrideable. We called the ambulance and stayed with him.
The driver of the car, meanwhile, stayed in her vehicle, sending one of the little girls riding with her around to the side of her car to check for damages. She then drove into the complex.

I was ****ing livid. When you knock over a person your first thought should be of them. Not your car.
We stayed on the scene until after the ambulance and police had left and we had given a statement.

She was clearly in the wrong yet just as clearly wanted nothing to do with the accident she had caused, did nothing at all for the victim.

The depths of human brokenness really got to me that afternoon.

Un bloody believable!

Not technically a hit-and-run, as she called her hubby to the scene and didn't leave the complex (sat in her car mostly) until after the police had taken all our statements.
Incredibly, first thing hubby said when he rocked up was "he must have been on the wrong side of the road".
It was Kingfisher Drive.

It would technically be a hit and run, she left the scene of the accident by going into the complex...

I have noticed that rich people have this kind of mindset... they think nothing of hitting a cyclist..
