Bad Driving thread

So the driver of the bakkie decided not to stop at the stop sign and rather ploughing into the side of the BMW.

Literally the first thing he says when he gets out the bakkie - “dammit I don’t have insurance. ”

when are they going to make it law you must have insurance if you own a car ? Can you imagine if you crash into a ferrari or Lambo and you dont have insurance.

Think that will work in ZA? You have lots of uninsured vehikkels on the road as most people can't afford inn-sewer-ants.

If they can bring a basic "jalopy policy" that'll cover accidents only, then I'll sign up for one. Otherwise it's too expensive for me, and I'd rather drive defensively and avoid nasty crashes etc. (I don't have inn-sewer-ants, being one of the many Saffers with not enough income to afford that...)

Thing is when they do insurance premiums will go mental, like the way it is in the UK, your annual insurance premium is guaranteed to be more than the value of your car, ten times over in some cases.

No worries we accept organs .All jokes aside I know for a fact if a guy can afford a supercar/hypercar he has the time and money to make your life very difficult

I was pretty surprised myself, they passed me at the robots turning into Walmer Township - One cop car, and two black SUV's.

After they nearly knocked me over, I got pissed off, and managed to beat them to the airport, going via the back route. Some idiot blocked me at the traffic circles there though, and they roared past, and I was stuck.

Probably en route to the Radisson.

Why the **** do they have to drive like that? What's the hurry, ffs?

*edit*

It was about a week ago. I think I vaguely recall some ANC bigwig was in town around that time...
assertion of power. I thought that was obvious?

I very much agree with you. A LOT of people don't have insurance on the road because it is bloody well expensive. And the rules are honestly ridiculous, you're a 25 year old, your life is getting started, new license, new car, how the hell do they expect you to pay R2500 per month for motor insurance? It is ridiculous honestly.

I don't waste any more energy on bad drivers. Just let them go.

After all, they'll form a bad habit and do it over and over again, until they make an accident. Hopefully with a Ferrari or some expensive thing, and get the owner from hell on their case.
