I always wait there for it to turn green. I've seen cyclists speed across there too many times to take that chance.R44 just across from the station, I sometimes so the samw there especially at night. Don't like standing around there needlessly so if it's safe I go.
So this morning on my School run , traffic was a bit slow but nothing major notice a biker in my rear view mirror coming up behind, so i move a bit to the left to let him pass - He nods and waves as they do (I believe its Thank you in their Language) when he passes, but further up don't i see a car purposefully more into the right to block the biker - Like WTF
He isn't in anyone's way and like on a bike takes up no space better on the side then between cars

Same here.Thought as much, I'd also tread it like a stop and go if its quiet, especially if its a dodgy area.
This is for all those ignorant & discourteous drivers that hog the right lane (the OVERTAKING lane, as you SHOULD be abiding by the 'Keep Left, Pass Right' rule) and travel at between 20 to 40 km/h UNDER the posted speed limit, and apparently NEVER look in their rear-view mirrors at all:
