Bad Driving thread

Not as bad as the windowlickers that cruise along at 40km/h in the onramp and then needing to slowing down because they are scared of blending in with the cars on the highway doing 120km/h.
Aah, that be Timidicus! 🤣

Have a new one that seems to be growing in popularity...

Idiots who think they're important and get annoyed when you don't get out of their way fast enough so drive around you dangerously and then try pit maneuver themselves on your car to show you how angry they are.

It's more astounding when it's a piss willy little golf gti trying to pit maneuver itself on a damn Amarok.

That'd be imported to your province from CrapTeng. It is a big thing there.
Now unfortunately imported to Slaapstad too with all them GP plates here

There is a traffic circle at Sunrise Beach in Muizenberg. The beach side is full of sand to a depth of 300mm. Someone parked at the entrance of the circle as I was leaving, blocking the road and got out his car to walk off

I hooted and asked him to move. His response was to come to the car and hit me several times in the face.

Lots of blood and loose teeth. Off to Melomed ER. 16 stitches, x-ray for jaw, 3 injections, bandage around head. R3920,00 cost. Dentist tomorrow

Wife took his CAA number. SAPS wanted his name and address. I thought they could get this but they insist

Sorry man.... eish....
Ja the lazy SAPS want you to do all the work for them, how must you get his name and address when he's assaulting you. Typical d0m f0k ANC naaiers

That's BS. Tell them you want to press charges and they need to do the work.

You have the registration, and probably the make/model of the car? Can you give a description of the person as well? And your wife is a witness.

Sorry you had to go through that.

Don't forget to take pics of your face.

Hectic, sorry you had to go through that, hope they throw the book at him.

My excitement on Saturday: A guy in a bakkie stopped in front of me. On the N1 in the fast lane near William Nicol.

I'd been sitting behind this guy for a while, and he was dawdling along at 100 in the fast lane of the N1 South. I flash my lights a few times as he was holding everything up, and then he started slowing down, slower and slower. I went past him on the emergency lane (didn't want to be rear-ended!), and I saw in the rear view mirror as he came to a stop, then slowly crossed all 4 busy lanes so that he could take the Wm Nicol offramp that he was about to miss.

Sadly you have to be prepared for violence in South Africa. I also learned this the hard way.

You have to be prepared to defend yourself and your family by any means.

@chrisc Did you ask nicely (not that it justifies violence regardless of how you asked)? I recommend you get a firearm and the required training for situations like this. If it makes you feel any better eventually they mess with the wrong person and end up with a toe tag
