Karma and FAFO combine … It all wraps up in 10 seconds!
Wait for it … so worth it!

The current mindset issue is keep right, pass left.Yup, isn’t it keep left pass right. But no one enforces laws in SA.
Here 99% of people don’t undertake. Always pass on the right even if no one is in the lane to your left.
The current mindset issue is keep right, pass left.
I have always said, if someone over takes you on your left, you are the problem.
Hyundai was over taken on its left.
Red Toyota was overtaken on its left.
White Toyota was over taken on its left.
Not in SA. Most hog any of the overtaking lanes.Yes, that’s fair but not always that simple. But if a cop sees you hogging the middle or outer lane(s) like that you’ll have an issue. If the lane to your left is clear, move into it. Only move out of it if you need to overtake.
Jip, especially the highway next to Makro.
I did not even have to search for it, my first attempt of getting a photo, lane 3 and 4 used:

I can tell you now, the following truck is doing 80KM/h when I swing the camera around:

I can easily do 130KM/h in the first lane, most mornings if I aim it correctly.
Else you get stuck 100KM/h in the most right take over lane.
I often travel the N3 between Linksfield Rd & Marlboro Drive - as well as the R24 / N12 between Eastgate & Boksburg - and also find that using either the extreme left or 2nd lane from the left is WAY less congested than the other lanes to the right, where ALL the German luxury sedans & SUVs, VW Polos, Golfs & Amaroks, Toyota Hilux / Fortuner & Ford Ranger / Everest 4x4 vehicles (and the occasional Quantum / HIACE) are all frenetically competing in who can do the MOST 'Ayrton Senna' triple lane changes in the shortest distance between offramps... often veering from the extreme right lane (the 'overtaking' lane) across multiple lanes at the LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT in order to get across to whichever offramp is taking them to where their 'final destination' is...Not in SA. Most hog any of the overtaking lanes.
Cops don't care where you drive, only if you are in front of them in an overtaking lane.
One day, when I feel like incriminating myself, will I upload a vid of me doing a certain speed in lane 1, overtaking occupied lanes 2, 3 and 4.
This should not be possible, yet I am able to do it.
The road I am referring to is the one next to Makro in Germiston.
Yeah. Some even brake while doing the 3 lane change to make the off ramp, slowing down those lanes even more.I often travel the N3 between Linksfield Rd & Marlboro Drive - as well as the R24 / N12 between Eastgate & Boksburg - and also find that using either the extreme left or 2nd lane from the left is WAY less congested than the other lanes to the right, where ALL the German luxury sedans & SUVs, VW Polos, Golfs & Amaroks, Toyota Hilux / Fortuner & Ford Ranger / Everest 4x4 vehicles (and the occasional Quantum / HIACE) are all frenetically competing in who can do the MOST 'Ayrton Senna' triple lane changes in the shortest distance between offramps... often veering from the extreme right lane (the 'overtaking' lane) across multiple lanes at the LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT in order to get across to whichever offramp is taking them to where their 'final destination' is...![]()

I **** you not, I knew someone who slammed brakes in the middle lane - coming to a complete stop. Then moved over because they were about to miss their off ramp. Was in Durban mind you. But I swore never to get into the car with them.Yeah. Some even brake while doing the 3 lane change to make the off ramp, slowing down those lanes even more.
Now I have my new car - I need to install & set up my Garmin DC45 dashcam in it (my old car was sold with the Garmin accessory parking mode cable hard-wired into the fuse-box) - I need to either get another one) - or just use a USB 2.0 to mini-USB power cable from the 2 x USB power adaptor I have plugged into the 12v power socket, so I can use both my Garmin GPS & dashcam at the same time...

The Garmin Parking Mode unit I had in my old car (as above) was installed in the same way - hard-wired to the fuse-box, cable up the A-pillar & across behind the headlining - and the cable coming out just behind the rear-view mirror - when you turned off the ignition - it still supplied power to the dashcam (with a battery drain safety cut-off to prevent the battery going flat if left unattended for an extended period) - it allowed the Garmin dashcam to record a video if it sensed movement in front of it - or if the shock sensor detected an impact on the vehicle.I have a Nextbase one that I wired straight to the fuse box and hid the cable in the trim. Much neater.

I have lived that experience.. And I chain smoked a box of stuyvies after it cos I have no idea how I missed piling into the fscktard at 100kmh around the blind corner. You guys haven't lived until you see a car reverse on the highway to a turnoff he missed.
Why else do we have the far left and emergency lanes?
How many laps of the Nürburgring have you done on those tyres? 25,000 perhaps? It is finally time, before I become part of the problem...
