Bakkies & JP incidents...

A formidable center pairing with olivier, who has been named to play in the match on Saturday so i 'assume' he has passed a fitness test.
 
So JP's decision was upheld. I think this is a very bad decision in the light of what happend over the last view weeks! I think they just wanted to make right what they could get right over the last couple of weeks.

Personally think the Brett Sheenan shoulder on Brad Barritt was much more malicious in terms of intent and outcome than JP's offence. And Kockott's was even worse. I just don't get the logic, even if it is skewed logic.

Well its done now. So we just have to hope Princess charming recovers in time.
 
Listen I don't care if he deserved it or not, the man is aggro and will be treated more harshly because of it. He is a reular offender and so yes he will get nailed for tiny infringements. Take Butch James for example yes he did used to shoulder charge alot and was targeted by ref's for it. Get over it.
 
This is so retarded,

SANZA with their fk'd up way of handeling SA players have now forced JP to move to Japan permanently. He has also said he will never play in a SANZA game ever again.

This is so sad as that guy has massive talent and will now also be lost to the Bok team. He is aiming to play for Japan in the next RWC :(

There is way too much iregularities with the sightings this year. I think an independant company should be running the match sightings. Seriously it can not continue like this.

He played more than 1000 mins without an problem. IIRC he has not given away a penalty in this years super 14..... This is not Ballet, this is rugby :rolleyes:

IMO he would never have made Springbok, he is just not that good, but he has had a couple of good games for the bulls this year. I do feel the call was a bit harsh...

Devill I agree with you 100%

The thing that is making me mad is the inconsistencies with regards to the sightings. That tackle he made was not a ban-able(sp) offence. He was going for the tackle and the Stefan was tackled by someone else and JP was already committed to the tackle.

He then gets 4 weeks for that :eek:

That is what is pissing me off to no end. Sure slap him on the wrists for it, but 4 weeks ? He is one of the key players in the bulls match against the Crusaders and the board knows that.

Which is really sad, to me it seems like the games are now being played off the field by SANZAR instead of on the field by the players :mad:
 
Yup, he was in with a shout for the Bok squad but in reality probably would not of cracked the nod.
The center pairing of him with Olivier has arguably been the best out of the SA teams this year in the Super 14, they have been a formidable force.

The inconsistencies in the disciplinary process is what really irks me.
There is no doubt that SA players have had a raw deal, and the JP's citing is nowhere near inline with the rest of them this year.
