Baldur's Gate 3

I just started a new game, no mods. No issues thus far.
Started creating a new character last night on the new patch and the game crashed hard almost when I was done with my character, didn't even show the normal crash reporting screen, just went to a generic PS error screen.

I just turned it off at that point, hope it doesn't start crashing like this too often.

Yea look it's a big patch, wouldn't be surprised if there are some bugs and they release a stability patch.

My first play through I was pretty much a goody two shoes kinda player.

I'm tempted to go more evil for my second run but I just find it so hard to be mean, ffs
Me too haha. Every time I create an evil character for an evil playthrough in these types of games, i feel bad and within 10 minutes my evil-looking character is giving everyone hugs and kisses :(

I just finished my playthrough with the Adjustable Party Limit mod, it was amazing being able to have everyone with me the entire time.
This is interesting, gonna get that mod for next time. Always wanted to play these games like that with everyone traveling together in one group.

I don't want easy fights though.

Have you tried playing as the Urge?
Might help you stay evil, because of the character rewards

I just received an insane character reward for killing a certain someone in act II

Alas. If no hotfix for the patch soon I will have to start over. The freezing and stuttering in my save makes it unbearable to play

I don't know what that is tbh

Only played the game once so far, don't know when I'll do a second playthrough to try for a more evil route.

Only game I can think of where I've successfully done a 100% evil playthrough from start to finish was Kotor because I wanted to be Sith and get party members you wouldn't get otherwise. Did that once and never again because I much prefer the Jedi route.

Its for advanced players.

You'll be led into being evil. Or just have a jolly 'ol time, go to bed and wake up with a brutally murdered party member or two.

I like my party members so I avoid it.

Thought I would just quickly check out the patch and now I'm here 10hours later...damn this game.

Anyway I was on tactician difficultly but found it quite tough...what difficultly do ya'll play on?

The easiest level available (Explorer) but I change it to Balanced when @UrBaN963 joins and that's probably too easy for him hehe.

Really?

I'm at Moonrise and still have my entire party

You can kill everyone including your love interest.

Just because you don't doesn't mean you cant. Hence you are fighting the urge.

And yes Alvina can be a party member. Minthara can also be permanent.

If you are going to play a goodie-two-shoes then why even pick the class in which you are literally a demonic Slayer?

I can play the game how I want and do what I want

I've killed enough to get my transformation and have my entire party

And it's Alfira

Then why are you here questioning other outcomes then?

You are resisting the urge. In direct opposite you can give in to the urge, which you clearly aren't.

**** it I don't even care about spoilers here you go -

You kill Alfira.
You can slit Laezel's throat.
You can cut off Gales hand.
You can slit Mintharas throat.
You can behead Karlach.
Wyll will leave.
Yuo can kill Jaheera at Last Light.
You can kill Halsin in the Goblin camp.
You can kill Shadowheart at Nightsong.
You can sacrifice your lover.
