Bali for honeymoon?

Okay so I don't know if I posted this in the right place.. Forgive me if I didn't.. I love mybroadband I just need a little more time to get used to it okay so I booked Bali for honeymoon and I guess it's non refundable and my flights are the same too.. Does anyone think I'm making a mistake?
 
Bali is awesome dude. I think you will have a great time.

What concerns you about your decision?
 
Bit late to ask if you've already booked, surely?

LOL, I read it as Bail for honeymoon, was thinking you hardly married and already in die kahrk. :)
 
I'm staying in the Conrad in nusa dua.. Any body familiar with the area?
 
Is it pricey there? Like I heard it's not bad from online reviews but anybody knows from personal experience?

I went on honeymoon to Bali in 2014. Best decision ever.
Stayed at the Club Med in Nusa Dua.

Its an absolutely stunning island.
There is a large flea market with reasonable priced goods in Kuta, if you dont feel like blowing all you money on stuff.

Kuta as well is great fun. You have to do the dinner on the beach. Tons of restaurants and fresh sea food.
Down side was the sheer amount of Ausies... that accent grits me.

No mistake have a blast in Paradise. I would check for tsunami warnings though.

The ausies accent it's not the first time I'm reading that.. Tell me though, traveling around in Bali? How was it? Safety? And what should I be aware of? Anything I should do in Bali in specific to make the honeymoon special?

Well definately a romantic dinner on Kuta beach is a must do for a new couple.
My wife and i are super adventurous, so we did a whole lot of walking, even did a bicycle ride through a village and went up to the dormant volcano. But when we didnt walk, we made use of the same cab driver through out our stay. He was recommended to us by a staff member at the hotel who just happened to be south african. So we were guaranteed the best rates whenever we used him.

Id advise you to speak the the staff at your hotel for recommendations on cab drivers. It will always be the safer option.
Bali is mainly bhuddist. But Indonesia as a country is a largely muslim country. Try as much as possible to avoid going places with people you dont know.

A couple of locals tried to con us once with some scratch tickets, claiming we had won a couple hundred dollors. The catch was that we had to give them our hotel address so they could pick us up that evening and take us to where we could claim our prize.
Of course at this stage, instinct kicked in and i suddenly had images of wearing an orange overall and ending up on an ISIS propoganda video.

All in all, we had an incident free stay. Had loads of fun, and didnt break the bank to be there.
As with every new place, just be conscious of your surroundings,, dont take tours with non accredited tour companies and you should be good!

Altho, in my experience, some of my best exploring's been done with non-accredited tour companies. Or to be more specific, dodgy locals who aren't part of tour companies at all. (and cheapest, of course) - not in Bali, but Thailand, Mauritius etc.

Isn't it risky? Like what if you get hustled or like even robbed

Bali is not very expensive. If you intend to do most of your activities in the Nusa Dua compound, prices will be a bit higher.

That's what travelling's all about - you gotta take some chances, you gotta learn to figure out who's trustworthy, gotta be street smart. Luckily my wife's far better at most of the above-mentioned than I.

Also, it helps that in most cases people could charge you "high prices" that would still be below what the Hotel / tour company would charge. So they don't need to rob you as they're already making good money off you, but you're happy cos you're still saving.
