What the f*** is going on at this company ?
Last night i had 1.6gb left now i have 14mb left ?
Anyone else having the same k@k?
And gues what - no daily usage reports.

God damn Joke

The thing is that it only updates you're bandwith consumption when you reconnect. So, under the assumption that during the night it reconnected itself, sounds pretty feasable

Well i leave it on throughout the night but how can i use 1.5gigs in one night ?Its not possible on my connection

Its possible - if p2p is working well... ahh, there's always a prob with iburst. counting the days till the SNO

but i dont use p2p so..... and even if i did , its impossible at these k@k speeds

That BW manager is not working correctly, and I've proved it many times with disconnecting and reconnecting even after the modem, router and PC were turned off for a few hours, and the webpage was still incorrect.

No BW emails and now the webpage does not work today, not that it was much help since it was not correct anyway.

This month I'm using BWmeter and it is very accurite, and it also counts internet usage seperatly from local network.

Why does WBS not issue bandwidth statements much in the same way as a telephone account, reflecting daily usage? This would be a little more fair IMO.

How does one measure just the bandwidth used by the iBurst connection on a PC that is connected to a network? <---------- Ooops, just read MrH's post so disregard this. *sheepish grin*

Since last night , when i had 14 mb left i know have nothing and i have not used my connection , i actually unplugged it.

Something is going on there.

The bandwidth manager is indeed not working properly
Nor is the packet shaper

i think the packet shaping works fine, its the software in between the intelligent firewall and the database that seems to be problematic

well, I beg to differ... this weekend it was turned off... downloaded over 300 megs on Sunday afternoon at 45 kbyte/sec per torrent sustained. It was also turned off late last night...

thats not the packet shaper, thats the throttle

packet shaping rules that ive seen for p2p ussually manipulate the connection ie block peers connecting to you if you have x connections already or if your speed is x, so you can have one peer giving 40k and 5 others giving 1k each. thats why they use the throttle in conjunction with the packet shaper, which should basically be 2 sets of rules thr traffic passes through on its way through the intelligent firewall

but with wbs' system who knows how they throttle

Craig: Have you phoned WBS or Shaun Green to have a look into this?

E mailed them , cannot sit for 5 hours on my cellphone , they said i must explain what the problem is , god damn rediculous. So i explained in detail and am waiting for a reply
