Bandwidth usage still Zero

We wish :)

My usage emails for the last 3 days have been exactly the same, which is impossible.

I wish Telkom would get their act together. I've heard from more than one Telkom employee that the usage reports give them problems, so if they are aware of the problem, why not fix it?

United we stand!

This creates a major problem:

How does one manage your bandwidth usage with Telkom not being able to deliver such a simple management tool as bandwidth usage stats?

Most probably they will have the cheeck to slap all usage up to now on a single day.

same here.
Last 5 reports show no change.
I suppose we all get capped tommorow.
Assumed guilty becouse they can't measure true useage.

Cheers
Chris

Yep, according to the usage tracker, and the sporadic daily mails, I have not used my ADSL connection since September 20.
When in fact, I've downloaded..well, that's only for me to know...[:D]

don't believe that FAKE REPORT.
according to my experience, you will suddenly end up with all the used traffic calculated someday.
telkom is still monitoring your traffic, but the report is malfunction atm.
so don't think it's still 0 MB used.
i hope there is no one has abused to download after receiving that faulty report.

This is a possible topic for the ICASA presentation by led by Peapod.

Telkom applies the 3GB cap, but does not demonstrate the ability to perform the accounting and reporting required in a professional manner.

Another example: The end of month carry-over as reported at the beginning of September.

Just a lightning stroke: Isn't Telkom hiding the carry-over for end September by not releasing the stats?[?]

Well, yes and no.
The daily email has always been a bit iffy, to say the least.
That's why I also check the online usage tracker, which told me the same thing until the end of September. And I got away with it.
Right now, I'm taking it easy, because like you say, you never know when they suddenly slam it on you.

I've seen the same thing on my reports (not this month though).

That's up to you, but what desraid and I were trying to warn about is that that graph might suddenly catch up again. We've seen it happen on our own graphs.

yep, they cought up.

I jumped form 5.44Mbytes to 243.45Mbytes over night [:)]
and my router was not even conected as I had loned it to a client for testing, so they are still monitoring just not reporting.

Cheers
Chris

Indeed. 500MB in one night, and the modem was off. More or less matches my own measurements for the month, so I'm not too fussed.

BUT, I do find it unacceptable that they screw you with this metering, but don't give you a reliable way of checking their stats.
