He, personally, will probably never see any tweets. It'll be his staff that do, and they will decide on whether he gets to see the message or not. Don't anticipate any response.
In this situation you can only imagine what you would do in his position. He can get anything he wants (iPads, etc.) and he has long, boring plane trips to contend with on his gallivanting, foreign policy initiatives.
Create a pseudonym and lurk. Get a feel for what the grassroots is saying without the filter of aides who only pass-along the ego stroking stuff. Post occasionally to incite flames and comment. Be informed (about what the Twitter community is saying anyway).
